Busy man has been busy
Wow has it really been two weeks since I've updated? Time flys... been really busy, school work sucks =P
Speaking of sucky school work, sitting in this incredibly boring lecture, needed something to do. I decided it was time for some original content...

HangOvers!
Hangovers are wonderful things!
Don't you just love being super sensitive to light? Having a pounding headache? Not being able to eat more than a cracker or two at a time?
I think its just the most amazing experience ever! And it can only be instigated by an ever more awesome process of consumption of alcohol! And who can complain about that?!
Long story short, awesome night last night!

Gun O'Clock!
So browsing around youtube as per normal, ran into this ridiculously asian commercial for this alarm clock that you shoot? Who knows. All I know is that it's absolutely hilarious to watch with no sound. Given I havn't actually heard the audio for the commercial, it could be even funnier with the audio!

Started a new blog!
Hey guys, I just started a new blog over at http://chem1101.blogspot.com/
I recommend you guys check it out, it's sure to be a good read, should be very funny!
It will be anything and everything that goes on in my CHEM1101 lectures, and possibly more! Depending on how this blog goes, I may adapt the concept for future laughable courses I may have...

Any DotA players out there?
Played a couple games of DotA this weekend, and only mustered two decently notable replays. They're not spectacular by any means, but I sure had fun in the games : )

T-T-T-T-TURBO LIFTS!
So I'm going to cover Turbo lifts here. In Minecraft, an effect was discovered where if one was to walk into a block of water that is one square higher than that of the block they were standing on, they would be bumped up to the level of the water very quickly. This only works when facing north or south! For those of you who can't find north or south, its the direction inline with the motion of the clouds in the sky.
The design I'm going to show you comes from Entity, of the Coldfront network, who modified the original design to make it smaller and more compact. The footprint of this design is 4x3.
We start with the base, a 4x3 rectangle, with one block missing near the front middle. And on top of that, we make a U shape leaving the front open, and closing the back.
Next, we take a ladder, and we place it on the second level on one of the front blocks, so that it is on the inside of the structure.
The third step is to take water, either by using a water block, or a bucket of water, and filling the back most inside space.
The ladder will prevent the water from flowing out of the structure, as well as provide double function to slow you down as you descend. The final step is to repeat the first three steps for as high as you wish to go!
In this picture, the repeated steps are in different material blocks to distinguish between them. Remember! This ONLY works if you are facing north or south! (ie inline with the direction of cloud movement)
More cool stuff to come!

Minecraft
So recently I've been playing a lot of Minecraft... and this game is consuming me... It's getting to the point where I think if I don't play for awhile... I start to go through Minecraft withdraw... Is this common in the LEGO generation?
This is a giant track I just recently completed on the server I play on. You start from near the left side of the image there, and it does a giant circuit, featuring a secret secondary route. Its great fun!
If you want to learn more about Minecraft, head over to www.minecraft.net

First of many!
So I guess this is the first, first of many. I'm a little cautious about sharing aspects of my life to random people, but I suppose that can be controlled by self-censorship... we'll see how it goes!
